Safety policies
Please read before you arrive.
Before you enter
- Boomtown FieldhouseUSA is a private facility; we may refuse entry or ask anyone to leave for any reason.
- By entering you accept these rules and the waiver terms — this includes players and spectators. You enter at your own risk.
- Photos and video taken in the facility belong to the facility and may be used in marketing. Security cameras and staff monitor the building.
- Boomtown provides the venue only and is not responsible for the organization of external tournaments/events or for injuries, damages, or losses during them — contact your tournament organizer with event questions.
Bags & weapons
- No weapons or firearms of any kind.
- Only player backpacks are allowed inside. Purses and camera bags are permitted but must be open for a quick check.
Food & drink
- No outside commercial food or drink — including Starbucks/coffee. No coolers of food.
- No gum. No sports drinks, coffee, or tea in playing areas (slip and delay hazards).
- Only sealed, clear water is allowed on the courts. No Stanley/uncapped cups.
- No eating or snacks on the courts. A bar & café is on site; all alcohol stays in the bar seating area.
- If you bring outside food, eat it inside your vehicle.
Courts & equipment
- Don’t climb nets, fences, or sprinklers, stand on tables/bar tops, or enter non-play areas — offenders pay for damages.
- No personal chairs, camping chairs, coolers, or self-carried team tables on the courts. Don’t move court chairs.
- Floor mats and seats are fine if they don’t scratch the floor. Movable spectator chairs are first-come, first-served — please return them.
- No ball handling or play (including dribbling/throwing) outside authorized event areas.
- Clean spills immediately — the responsible team stops play to clean up. Each team must clean its area after playing or be fined.
Kids & restricted areas
- Children must be supervised at all times or will be asked to leave.
- Stay out of other athletic or under-construction areas — soccer field, lounge, med-spa, gymnastics, and dance studios.
Pets
- No animals except service animals as defined by law. Please give at least 12 hours’ written notice.
- Service animals are kept off all playing surfaces and activity areas.
First aid & power
- There is no athletic trainer or ice on site — bring your own. First-aid kits/bandages can be purchased for a fee.
- No appliances may be plugged in. Phone charging is allowed around the bar areas only.
Parking & out front
- Parking is free and plentiful, but we are not responsible for your vehicle — lock it and keep valuables out of sight.
- No tables, camping, or tailgating in front of the building (Aurora camping ban; other businesses operate here). Unattended items are removed.
Lost & found
- There is no lost & found — unclaimed items are disposed of nightly for sanitation. Lost electronics/valuables are not our responsibility. Please don’t call or email about lost items.
USAV RMR events
Food policy & logistics for sanctioned RMR play.
- RMR players only may bring a brown-bag lunch carried in a player backpack; if it doesn’t fit in the backpack, it isn’t allowed. Spectators may not bring bags (except purses/camera bags) or food.
- Doors open at 7:00 AM; team areas are first-come, first-served. Coaches meeting is at 7:30 AM at the admin desk.
- Warm-up balls/carts are not provided (RMR provides one game ball per court). Guest Wi-Fi is available.
- A limited number of court-approved folding chairs are provided — return them to the rack at the end.
- Coaches/directors must check out with the site director before leaving or final scores won’t be entered (automatic forfeit).
Spectators & fines
Repeat violations are monitored on camera.
- Spectators who refuse to comply will be asked to leave or escorted out by APD, and must supervise their own children.
- 1st offense — $25 to the offending team/club; 2nd — $50; 3rd — the team forfeits its remaining matches and is not welcomed back.
- Keep team belongings in your team area and out of the play space; clean up your area after you play, even if the trash isn’t yours.
